Epistolary Flash Fiction: Week IV

Our next short fiction event will be a little different than the general fiction of previous weeks.

The theme will be letters. (Emails or other messages are fine.) The piece can be one long letter or a thread of shorter messages; the format is up to the writer. The only other requirements are the length (500 words, or close enough) and that you tell a story.

To participate, get in touch over email or here in the comments. This will happen in mid-January, and we’ll announce the dates after the new year.

Neil Fein is a freelance editor who specializes in novels. If you’ve written a manuscript or are getting close to finishing, you can get in touch with him here, and even ask for a free sample edit. He’s fascinated by places where language and music intersect, and he writes music and lyrics as often as possible. He’s also in the studio with his band Baroque & Hungry, and his fingertips hurt from the unaccustomed act of playing bass guitar.
