The hair cutting thing is dangerous in my business – we call certain cuts “the bishop’s haircut”. This is a shorter haircut that many women clergy got in the early days of women’s clergy (1970′s and 80′s) and have never considered a change. It looks suspiciously asexual. I have no problem with a woman wearing a tradition “man’s cut” (that’s quite sexy, to be honest) or a man opting for hair rollers so they can tease-out their big hair (although, I can’t imagine why). But the non-descript asexual cut is just a no-go. But being a priest, perhaps I should refrain from such vanity. Oh, well. I’m sure I’m failing to meet many people’s expectations of what a priest should be anyway so, what’s a little sin? It’s not like it’s a deadly one.

Also, any de-clutter ideas? Or where’s the best place to hide clutter when guests are coming over? Closet? Under the bed? And what if those places are full? I’m cleaning out things, but some stuff I just can’t seem to part with…ugh what to do? Help!

On a more serious note, why is a pilot called a pilot? And I don’t mean those who fly planes. I mean a new show on TV. Please explain.
