Glad I gave you a laugh! I DO post to Facebook, but you know, it's only once a week, so you may just be missing it. Thanks for adding me to your blog page! I'm very flattered! And now...digital olifactics? Hmm. Interesting!

I was in hysterics when I read that your daughter tries to rehabilitate the Joker! Awesome! And I have a suggestion, my dear... post your blog entries on Facebook, please. If you do already, then I'll just be shuffling off to the corner to hang my head in shame. Otherwise, that will remind me to read your brilliantly witty words... and I'm not just being sycophantic.

The hair cutting thing is dangerous in my business - we call certain cuts "the bishop's haircut". This is a shorter haircut that many women clergy got in the early days of women's clergy (1970's and 80's) and have never considered a change. It looks suspiciously asexual. I have no problem with a woman wearing a tradition "man's cut" (that's quite sexy, to be honest) or a man opting for hair rollers so they can tease-out their big hair (although, I can't imagine why). But the non-descript asexual cut is just a no-go. But being a priest, perhaps I should refrain from such vanity. Oh, well. I'm sure I'm failing to meet many people's expectations of what a priest should be anyway so, what's a little sin? It's not like it's a deadly one.

BTW, I've added you to my recommended blog page on my site: http://foldedandunfolding.wordpress.com/recommended-blogssites/.

And finally, here's my question: If we can have digital video and digital audio, why not digital olfactics?

Since you asked for a letter, I'll write one. I am Neil's cousin Ellen, also a mom, with twelve year old twins and ... I wanted to say elderly parents, but my dad just died, so I guess just one elderly mama with Alzheimer's. Monday morning as I came to the school of which I am a co-director, I found out I was subbing for our German teacher. So I read your column with Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean pirating behind me in German, and I got several good laughs. Maybe I'll even cut my hair someday... Thanks!!
Speaking of haircuts. At what age should a woman no longer have long hair? Is there a "cut off" age?

Also, any de-clutter ideas? Or where's the best place to hide clutter when guests are coming over? Closet? Under the bed? And what if those places are full? I'm cleaning out things, but some stuff I just can't seem to part with...ugh what to do? Help!

I have a question: how many people does it take to spam Jeff Eastin into reading my column? Is he that busy a man that even Tim DeKay will read it but he won't? Or maybe the fact that he's got a new show to run and shoot this month in LA while his already-hit show is resuming filming in NYC at the same time and he's too busy for me?

On a more serious note, why is a pilot called a pilot? And I don't mean those who fly planes. I mean a new show on TV. Please explain.
